Our Story

Once upon a time there was a guy and a girl, who met and it was love at first site.
Wrong! Not quite.

To start we met in Rexburg Idaho, April 2011. Funny story, as me and my roommate were walking to church him and some of his friends from Malad stopped and asked if we wanted a ride! Almost there, we denied the ride and kept walking. Then they happened to be in the same ward as us and so we ended up talking a little and got a ride home. I was interested in Kooper the most however, I soon found out he wasn't single(imagine that)
A month or two later, that changes, and we begin to talk a little bit. Still nothing really happens, and nether of us are interested. Another month passes and now we start to hang out, but the semester is almost over. So we stay connected and end up seeing each other about once a week all summer long. Fall semester rolls around, and we’re still trying the distance thing, however not committed because we’re still not 100%.
Winter rolls around and the distance gets the best of us, its a bumpy road from there. He starts trying to date his old girlfriend but still wants me at the same time. It goes down hill from there.  Then a year from when we meet spring semester starts again. One day walking to school, as I am telling my roommate about Kooper and how I never want to date him, or see him, or hang out or anything. HE drives past. Of course! Not long my phone gets a text, its him asking if I want to go to devotional.   From there we pick up just like we used to. However, simply “just friends.” We went to the park what seemed like everyday, had a class together, and played basketball all the time. Then the days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months and we begin to like each other again. ! That weekend we went to a bonfire and Kooper came, but all of my other guy friends were there as well. That's when it hit Kooper that he wasn't my boyfriend and I had other prospects. When we got back that night Kooper asked if he could talk to me. So we talked and talked. He still wasn't sure what he wanted, I wasn't sure what I wanted. But I was willing to give a relationship a shot. July was rolling around and I gave him the ultimatum. We would either begin dating, or once the semester was over it was see ya later jack. It'd been a year and if we weren't going to date then it wasn't going to work.
As you can tell, we started dating. It took 3 months and we knew we wanted to get married. October 7th he proposed.
January 11, 2013 we were married for time and all eternity in the Brigham City Temple!
Where we promised to always be there for one another no matter what!
I can't tell you what a blessing it has been to be married in the Temple to my sweetheart. I can't wait to see what life has in store for us!
