HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
This was our first Halloween together and so I wanted to do a couple costume. I know its a little cheesy but it was so much fun! The only problem was that we live in Rexburg, Idaho where there is nothing. When I mean nothing, I mean clothes. We couldn't find anything yellow for Kooper, not pants, not a shirt and NO hat! So we improvised I added polka dots to his tie and he wore a shirt inside out and my pants (you can't really tell because he is so skinny, it was really funny) Then for my costume I looked everywhere for a long sleeve brown shirt and had no luck! Absolutly no store in rexburg sells brown shirts, not Walmart, Down East, K-mart, Cal-Ranch NOWHERE! so I did without. I also got my tail at the D.I for 50cents(SCORE) and I spray painted it brown, and then I just made the ears. We got all ready to go and then as soon as we stepped out the door, Kooper was nervous/embarrassed and didn't want to do it. Luckily he is a good sport and will support me with all my crazy ideas.
This is his thoughts exactly...
What did you dress up as?Any Halloween Traditions?
I love everything about this! How adorable!

What a good husband you have! Such an adorable costume and so original!
ReplyDeleteOh awesome! I kind of cant believe he can wear your pants...my guy isn't that much bigger than me, one time he was wearing my bright pink pajama sweatpants and sweatshirt around the house and looked pretty ridiculous. But they do make yellow pants for guys these days (if not in your city) so I think you really can't tell!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this!!! Too funny! Especially how he is wearing your pants!!! ahahha
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love couples costumes! And you guys pulled it off perfectly considering you had minimal resources!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This is so adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your costumes - what a great idea!! It was worth all of the work you went through to put it together! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love that you guys dressed up as Curious George and the Man with the yellow hat - minus the hat ;)
ReplyDeleteWe opted to stay in this Halloween, pass out candy to trick or treaters and watch all the classics (Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown)
Happy belated Halloween!
