Orlando's Universal Resort

Can I just tell you how awesome Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure were! We had so much fun at both of them!!
I am going to Start with IOA because Universal Studios was my favorite!

Islands of Adventure

We made sure to get up, get ready and be there by 8 am! We got there as the doors were opened and we headed straight for all the bigger rides first. We made it all the way around the whole park in like 3 hours. We went back around a second time and we hit all the water rides, and the smaller rides that we missed during the first loop. We didn't have to wait in very many lines! It would take us 5-10 minutes to walk through and get to the ride and then we would get right on. It was so nice, not having to wait in long lines. Towards the end of the day it got a little busier and the ones we wanted to go on again we just went through the single riders (You wait in line together, it goes way quicker than the normal line and usually you get on the same time as each other. )We ended up going around a third time with Trevor, Cynthia and Austin. who gets to go to a theme park at 3.5 months! He does.

Rides From Favorite To Worst
Harry Potter & the Forbidden Journey(Way cool, and I really felt like I was there)
The Incredible Hulk (One of the only Roller Coasters, and it was really cool, it scared me at first when it shot up and took off)
Amazing Spider Man (My first "Ride" and it was very fun, we wore the 3D glasses in this ride.)
Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges (We got soaking wet and it was very refreshing)
Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls (I screamed the entire way down)
Dragon Challenge (I got a headache from both of these rides, but they were still fun)
Flight of the Hippogriff (This ride was okay, not great, but still okay.)
The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride (Just a fun, cute ride)
Jurassic Park River Adventure (Eh it was okay, not my fav. but we had to go on them all)
Doctor Dooms FearFall  (Personally not worth the wait.)

Shows
The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad (It was nice to sit and take a break and just watch something)
Poseidon's Fury (If your claustrophobic don't go to this ride, I was getting Nauseous with so many people all hot and sweaty, however the show ended up being pretty cool and entertaining.)

 ^ I lOVE LEMONADE!

This was for Carter and Wheeler!

^ Look at hubby's cute farmers tan!

^ This says it all. We had a blast at Islands of Adventure!

Universal Studios

I would recommend this place to anyone! IOA was fun but there wasn't a lot of rides, or a lot to look at compared to Universal Studios. This place was a lot busier! We actually had to wait in lines here, but the rides were cute, funny, and FUN! This Park took us the entire day. By the end of the night we were sleepy tired, but not exhausted tired like we were from IOA.
We just wanted more!

Rides From Favorite To Worst
Holleywood Rip Ride Rockit (One of the best roller coasters I have ever been on! We went like 3 times)
Revenge of the Mummy (This ride was so fun we went on it like 4 or 5 times. It sprayed water at us, had fire flaming around us, went fast and flipped you in the dark and was just one of my top rides!)
Despicable Me (Koop loves this movie, and so just watching him laugh made it so fun. He definitely loved this ride)
Disaster (They asked for volunteers for this ride, and Kooper nominated me, so I was apart of the cast, I got bricks dropped on my head and had to do an evil laugh,  so that made it pretty fun)
E.T Adventure (The scene to get you to this ride is set up very good, you ride a stationary bike, I enjoyed this ride)
Shrek 4-D (This ride was good, not great, or bad but good)
Transformers (The line for this ride was crazy long, and I didn't think it was worth the wait, it was a good ride, but I expected it to be better than it was)
Twister (This was done very well, it was a good ride)
The Simpson ride (We had the back of the car so it wasn't as fun, and it gave me a headache after)
Men in Black (We took the single ride, which I am glad because it wasn't quite my favorite.)

Harry Potter Diagon Alley was so cool, it looked so much like the movies and was set up very good! Just walking around to the different places was fun. They did a very good job here. The only bad part, we got in line for the ride (Which was so long!) We waited for 2 hours! Got to almost the very front of the line and then they had a delay. Well almost all of the rides have had a delay and they say they can be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. Well we waited for every other ride and they always came on within 5 minutes. We ended up waiting another hour and it never came on so we left. Good thing too because the ride never came on again. That was a little disappointing because it was the only ride we didn't get to go on, and it was one of the main rides we did want to go on.

^ He thinks he is funny! He doesn't drink beer but he always has a Mountain Dew! He mainly took this picture because Trevor dressed up for him as Halloween and then Trent did the next year.
I wish this little family of 3 lived closer to us, so we could see them everyday. Hopefully one day they will :) (HINT HINT)
Cynthia is going to be one of the best moms, I seen how worried she was when she couldn't see her dog on the video-cam back home.
Austin will be one spoiled baby. Plus I can tell every time we went to a store.. oh Austin would look so cute in this.
^ It just starts pouring at random times and everyone hides for shelter in the mini shops.

^ I wish I had the one of my nephew with him, because it was pretty cool!

All in all, we loved Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure It definitely made it a trip!

Tips I would recommend
Make sure to Ride the Mummy and Rockit! They are the best rides.
Bring Snacks (They say you can't bring food that you have to prepare, but we took sandwiches the second day and they were perfect when your waiting in line)
Bring a water bottle or get the refillable drink (You will get thirsty)
Wear comfortable shoes, especially ones with a back
Expect it to rain, so hit the outdoor rides first!
Take lots of pictures!
Use the child swap! We used the child swap and cut to the front of the line,
sometimes without even having to wait in the line! It was awesome!
Carry a zip up bag, that way you can keep everything important in it so you won't loose anything, and its much easier than a purse.(Plus we lost a phone, and it wasn't fun and we lost a lot of cute pictures from IOA on it!)
