Halloween 2014

I love dressing up for Halloween! What I love most is that Kooper will do anything that I want to do. This is our 2nd year dressing up as a "couple" and I LOVE IT! Last year we were The Man in the Yellow Hat & Curious George!

This year I thought and thought what we could do for our costume. I couldn't think of anything that wasn't all over Pinterest. And this my friends.. I thought on my OWN!!! I was pretty proud because Pinterest has everything!  It was so easy to make. We just found a tube(the only tube, this time of year) and spray painted it and glued on colorful pipe cleaners.  For Koop, he has the clothes, we just bought a badge, borrow some handcuffs and I used my Silhouette to cut out Police!
In 2011 all of us girls lived together and I am so glad that we are all still friends. We missed Alexa and Levi though! We got together carved pumpkins, watched a scary movie, and went to a haunted house. It was so much fun!

Halloween night we got out these bubble balls and had a blast. Bowdrie, Ashley and a couple of their friends partner with Armor Pest Defense. They bought 10 of these awesome balls and we just had a blast! If you want to sell pest control get in contact, they are awesome!

This year Halloween was a blast! What did you do?!

Jackson Hole

We went to Jackson Hole a couple weeks ago with some of our good friends!! Jackson Hole is a fun place to just go exploring around all the little shops, look at ridiculously expensive sculptures, get candy at the candy shop, and see the beautiful surroundings.

In the winter time, they even have hockey games and they are so fun! Here was our last experience at Jackson Hole...

Hunting

This was the first year I have ever been hunting! I really enjoyed it, it was a great experience!

The first morning we woke up at 5 and was out on the Mountain before 6! As we headed up the Mountain we spotted a few Does and a 2 point buck. I didn't want the 2 point, I wanted something bigger so we kept going. Everyone was going to give me the first shot because it was my first time. Well all of a sudden this nice buck comes out of the brush and Kooper squats down and is ready, so we wait for him. Well something was messed up with his gun and when he shot the gun clicked. Long story short the buck ran off and we could not find him again! :(
That night we went out to a spot where we had spotted them a few days back, we waited and just kept seeing does, until all of a sudden there was a smaller 4 point buck. So I decided I would go for him! Once I decided my adreneline just took off! I swear my heart and chest was pounding! There was a couple horses that kept scaring them off and then a little doe was in the way, but finally I got a shot.... and I missed! Koop said I was just barely above. However, it was to dark that I couldn't find exactly which one he was because he got so far away.
The next two days we went out and seen NOTHING! With our tag being in Malad we only had the weekend and didn't get anything.  However, just going out with the family all weekend was so much fun! I loved the adrenaline, and the excitement of seeing them.

Shooting

Koop and I went out last night to practice for this coming weekend! Opening Day for our deer hunt is the 10th! This will be my first year hunting and I'm kind of nervous, but I think it will be really fun. I'm grateful my hubby and I like to do EVERYTHING together!

Last 2014 Camp Trip

We wanted to go camping one last time before it got to cold. The weather said it would rain starting at 10pm and go all night and the next day but we went anyway. We set up camp, cooked quesadillas in the dutch over and roasted some starburst (unfortunately we didn't get any pictures before.) Once 10 came it really started raining and we headed for our tents. I slept pretty much all night, I would wake up with a dead arm from sleeping on it or I would stretch out and put my feet at the end of the tent and they would get wet.  But the boys said it was "Terrible!" The next morning we woke up and it was STILL RAINING! As soon as it stopped we packed up camp and headed home to make breakfast. Then we went out again after it stopped raining..

Last First Day Of School!

Koop Might Kill me for this.. but oh well! :) This is our LAST semester up at BYUI. I graduated last December, and he will graduate THIS DECEMBER!  We are excited and yet nervous at the same time. College was so easy, it was just something we did. And now we have to decide where to live, where to work, where to go from here. It is hard stuff!

The Summer Farm Life

The Farming life consumed our summer. It was all Kooper did! Every now and then I got to join him. I love being outside and going exploring so when he was working I was exploring. Occasionally I would help him, but more or less just play around with Sampson.

We spent Labor Day in Malad. I have grown to love Malad a little more each time I am there (Especially when I get to go exploring.) Nicole and I woke up early and headed to Power House Campground and went on a hike up there. Its really pretty!

Boise Fair Weekend & Blackfoot Fair

The Boise Fair is usually one of my favorites! For a couple reasons, its really laid back, I usually see people from home, and my mom comes over. To make this year even better, my dad came! He doesn't like to go to fairs usually, but he came to this one! And he enjoyed it! Koopers family goes to several fairs each year to show off their cattle. They raise and breed Hereford cattle. This year they needed a couple extra to reach 41 head(which increased the premium), so we had our hands full with 15! They all did pretty good.

Weber County Fair

I have went to the Weber County Fair ever since I was like 6 Years old. I showed Pigs from 8 years old to 18 years old, with a steer here and there. I loved it, our family was never very good at it, but it was something that I could do with my grandpa, and I'm forever grateful for that opportunity.
